Microsoft: crypto mining based on your body temperature

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”At the end of March we wrote about a Microsoft patent that referred to a crypto mining system based on human body activity.“][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_heading title=”Innovative mining that will never see the light of the day” size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”The patent application was registered by Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (MTL) from Redmond. Most of the similar patents belong to this company, and they refer to “crypto system that uses data of body’s activity”.”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”The system is described as an innovation that allows to use human body resources for cryptocurrency mining.”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”The system consists of a server that provides the user’s devices with the commands to execute and sensors indicating the body’s activity to check if the data correspond to the requirements.”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”Thus, if user executes commands given by the server he can get crypto for this.”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”There are applications that are built in the similar way: they charge tokens for walking or running.”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”But Microsoft went even further introducing devices that are capable of detecting more concrete data on human body. Therefore, these devices display brain waves and body heat emitted by user while physical activity to check that certain tasks have been fulfilled (views of advertisements and usage of certain internet services). This helps to reduce the computing power for mining process and speed it up. “][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_paragraph text=”In reality, however, these simple decisions cannot be used on practice and introduced into the market. But surprisingly such technical giant as Microsoft was so interested in the technology that it’s almost filed the patent.”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
